The Mud Room

In the winter of 2020-2021, with three nature-loving kids experiencing the distinct seasons of Northern Minnesota, we sought a solution to efficiently store all our gear. Transforming a half-bath in our entryway into a functional mudroom became the perfect answer. Leveraging my design expertise, I carefully planned the space, creating unique areas for each of our children to organize their gear while also ensuring ample coat hanging space for my wife and me. To optimize storage, I included a cleverly concealed compartment for off-season gear, resulting in a thoughtfully designed mudroom that maximizes space and ease of use.
